Message from the Dean

Howdy!

Welcome to the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy!

I am deeply honored to serve as interim dean of this wonderful school with its unique group of students, faculty and staff along with alumni and preceptors who make up our pharmacy family – or ‘pharmily’ as we call it. Whether you are a first-time visitor to our website or a prospective student exploring options for pharmacy education, I invite you to look at our exceptional educational programs, some of the extraordinary research conducted by our renowned faculty and to get to know us. 

I am delighted to share with you that our college has received acclaim for its state-of-the-art integrated professional pharmacy curriculum, innovative ‘holistic’ admissions process, comprehensive experiential education and a culture of assessment that is geared toward overall programmatic excellence. The Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) cited our fully-accredited program exemplary in the nation for four of its accreditation standards.  

The Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of maintains a low student-to-faculty ratio and is home to many first-generation college students. The school ranks first in the state of Texas for the lowest tuition and fees among accredited professional pharmacy degree programs, as per the American Association of College of Pharmacy, and is ranked second in the nation as the most affordable pharmacy program as per The College Affordability Guide.

Our vibrant and highly dedicated faculty and staff are deeply committed to helping students reach their highest potential.
