Mai Nguyen Endowed Scholarship

 The Mai Nguyen Endowed Scholarship is available to enrolled P1, P2, P3 and P4 PharmD students at the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy for the 2026-2027academic year.

In Honor of Dr. Victoria Pho's beloved mom, Mrs. Mai Nguyen, memorial scholarships have been made available to College of Pharmacy students to keep her mom's teachings and legacy alive in the hearts of many who loved her.  

Number of Awards and Award Amount

Four (4) $1,000 scholarships.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be enrolled at the Texas A&M Rangel School of Pharmacy for the AY 26-27.
• Demonstrate financial need. Need is to be determined by the applicants FASFA, TASFA, or ISFAA on file with the TAMU Office of Financial Aid.  If a student does not have one of these on file, they will not be eligible for any need-based scholarships.
• Demonstrate high academic achievement with a cumulative GPA within the range of 3.5 – 4.0. 

Preferred Eligibility Criteria

• Preference given to a PharmD student is an honorably discharged U.S. Military Active Duty, Reserve or Guard Member.
• Interest in a career as a pharmacy educator
• Interest in patient care with a geriatric, ambulatory care, and/or family care focus preferred.
• Exhibits Leadership

Submission Requirements 

1. A typed one-page, single-spaced essay describing how you meet the eligibility requirements, how the funds will be used and your career goals.
2. AY 2026-2027 COP Scholarship Application

The required supporting documents must be uploaded at the time the completed application is submitted in order to be considered.

Please submit your application and supporting materials by 5 PM on February 2, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be notified March 2026 and funds will be disbursed at the start of the 2026-2027 academic year.
