Biography
Amanda M. Galvan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a certified educator who has experience developing programs that promote individual growth and development. Ms. Galvan has served the higher education community for eight years and has previous experience with US Department of Education grant-funded programs. Her career in higher education includes employer relations, career counseling, grant writing, fellowship advising, and student success program development. She comes to us from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where she transitioned from the Career Services Department to Center for Student Success as the Academic Career Counselor and Academic Career Literacy Program Coordinator. She is a member of the National Career Development Association and has made a number of presentations focused on program evaluation and assessment at national conferences.Education and Training
